Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay was born on the 15th of September 1915, was raised in Ogden Utah. Fawn McKay, born into the Mormon Church's First Family used her literary talent and expertise in research to write an intriguing psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 under the title No Man knows My History, she used both. This title was inspired by the funeral sermon delivered by Joseph Smith who was the creator of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. His audience was shocked by his telling his audience: "You don't even know my name. There is no way to know my heart." Nobody has known about my past. In reality, I don't know. Fawn, 29 years old has written. Fawn took his place as a writer from that point on. A few people have even made an attempt to create a diagnostic diagnosis. Documents do not lack and contradictory. Assembling these documents - sorting through third- and first-hand sources, fitting Mormons' tales of the past to non-Mormons' into an authentic history - is challenging. This is exciting as well as instructive. FawnBrodie dedicated herself to this job. The fruits of her research and writing made her immortalized with world-wide fame: Thaddeus Stevens. The DevilDrives. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate Historical History (1974).
