Anya Taylor-Joy

The birth of Anya Taylor-Joy took place on the 16th of April, 1996, in Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. The father of her mother, who is Argentinean of Scottish and English heritage is her mother. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings. One of them is at each one of their parents' prior marriages. The family was originally from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. According to Taylor-Joy the removal was extremely difficult for her and she refused to learn English to the hope of moving back to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was required to switch schools. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in plays. At the age of 16 she left the school to pursue a profession as an actress full-time. From a young age Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to work as an actress. her dreams came true when she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
