Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas and grew up there. She went on to become a TV host of the talk show on daytime The Talk. Sheryl was born and lived in Little Rock. Sheryl was raised by an extremely difficult household. She spent the majority of her childhood taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. When she was a child, she had an uneasy relationship with her mom. Sheryl claims that in the past, her mother would stab her father because he was getting too close to her. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. But her passion was comedy. In 1989 she was the first female to make it to the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. She launched her TV career in 1992 appearing as a frequently performing comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. The host was on TV at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! Since 2011 she has been being a co-host for the talk show The Talk. In addition, she has appeared as the fictional character in TV shows such as Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
