April Ross
April Ross, a beach volleyball player from the United States She is one of a small set of females who've been awarded medals at multiple Olympics. Alix Klineman has become a brand new Olympian and is set to join her at Tokyo. Ross also hopes to get her very first Olympic gold. At 39 and has a long way to go, this could be her final chance. However, she is confident of achieving top honours. Ross, via NBC Boston, said that when the team performs well or at all they could win a gold. In addition, I'm planning be relying on a little bit of good luck. Ross, who was born 1982 and lived in Costa Mesa California with her mother and sister, first began competing in athletics at Newport Harbor High school. In Newport Harbor High School, she competed in numerous different sports. While a prep student she played indoor volleyball along with basketball and running track. She clearly was the top in the game of indoor volleyball. As per her biography, during high school she played volleyball as an outside hitter (middle blocker) and the setter (outside blocker). To honor her achievements, she received the Gatorade Award for the National Player of 1999. The year 2000 was the time she won the Orange County Athlete of the of the year for volleyball. Even though Ross and Klineman have been doing their thing since 2017, the former was already a big-time player on the beach scene even before the pair formed. In fact, she's won numerous tournaments, including one with an iconic volleyball player. In the period 2007-2013 she played together with Jennifer Kessy who more recently served as her and Klineman's coach. Kessy's teammate Ross, who won the world title with Kessy in 2009 was also a major force on international stage. The pair eventually picked up a silver medal in the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Misty May, Kerri Walsh and Kerri Jennings were the group that could take home the gold. It was fate that had them. Ross turned out to be Walsh Jennings' new partner after May-Treanor's retirement. They both won bronze medals in beach volleyball for the Rio Olympics of the year 2016. Ross was a player for the Trojans at USC during her college after graduating from high school. Her time at USC was awe-inspiring. In her first year at the school, 2000 saw her earn the Pac-10 and NCAA Freshman's of the award and become an All-American. In 2000, her Trojans were also able to make it to the Final Four. The second season of her career she suffered a devastating personal loss, yet managed to earn the honor of being named an All-American. Over the course of her final two seasons she led the Trojans up to the summit and clinched consecutive national championships. In 2003-2004, she was named as the most successful collegiate female volleyball player in America through The Honda Sports Award. Ross studied at USC in International Relations. Margie Ross did not get to witness Ross reach beach volleyball's highest levels. Ross's mom passed away due to breast cancer while she was in her sophomore year at USC. However, she continues to remember her deceased parent close and dear. Margie is a source of inspiration throughout her life, as well as on the beaches.
