Sheryl underwood is a comedian as well as a host on television and performer from the United States of America. She is best known for her role as The Talk's daytime co-host. Sheryl was raised in Little Rock. Sheryl was raised by a difficult family. She spent most of her childhood taking care of her older sister Frankie who suffered from an illness called polio. She faced a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing to. Sheryl asserts that, in an instance she was stabbed by her mother's father after he became close to her. Sheryl was a soldier after she graduated from university. Her interest was in comedy. She was the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She launched her TV career in 1992 being a regular comedian on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she was host of the show Oh Drama! Seit 2011, she is a cohost of the talk show. Also, she appears in fictional roles in popular shows such as Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
