April Ross

April Ross has won more than one Olympic gold medal. She is one of the few female beach volleyball players to have done so. Alix Klineman is a new Olympian and is set to join her in Tokyo. Ross's goal is to win her first Olympic Gold. Perhaps it is her last chance at winning, as she's 39 old. But she's still confident of achieving top honours. Ross was reported by NBC Boston as saying that If you put in your top, even if you play well we will get the gold. "I'm planning to test to have a bit of luck." Ross was born in California in Costa Mesa in 1982. She lived here along with her parents and younger sister. In Newport Harbor High School, she played in a variety of sports. She was a basketball player and also ran the track as well as her volleyball skills in the indoors in her time as a college athlete. She was clearly the best at the sport of indoor volleyball. As a high school volleyball career as per her college profile, she played as an outside-hitter, middle blocker and setter. Thanks to her hard work she was named in 1999 as the Gatorade Champion of Champions Circle of Champions Player of the Year. Her volleyball skills also brought her the Orange County Athlete of the Year award in 2000. Although Ross Klineman and Ross have been doing their thing from 2017 onward, the former was already a big-time athlete on the beach even before the pair formed. She actually won multiple major tournaments using two partners, one of whom is a volleyball icon. Between 2007 and 2013 she was in a partnership by Jennifer Kessy, who is the coach she is currently. Together together with Kessy, Ross won an Olympic Title in 2009 while competing on the international circuit. The 2012 Olympic Games, they were awarded the gold medal. Misty Maytreanor (Jennings) and Misty Maytreanor won gold, ahead of them. Ross Jennings was Walsh Jennings partner in fate when Maytreanor retired. They won the bronze medal in beach volleyball during the Rio Olympics 2016. Ross played for the USC Trojans in the college years following her graduation from the high school she attended. Ross had an impressive run in college. As a freshmen in 2000 the Trojans' performance earned her the Pac-10 as well as NCAA Young Player of the Year awards. In 2000, her Trojans made it to the Final Four. Her sophomore year was the time she experienced a devastating personal setback but managed to repeat as an All-American. Over the course of her two final years with the Trojans, she helped them to win two consecutive titles. She had established herself as an all-time great having won the 2003-04 Honda Sports Award as the highest ranked female volleyball player. Ross took a course in international relations at USC. Margie Ross, Ross' mother, never had the opportunity to see Ross' daughter blossom into a beach volleyball superstar. Ross's mom died from cancer of the breast in the year 2001. Ross had just become a second-year student at USC. Her mother is still very dearly. Margie at the beach and in daily life, is still a source of inspiration for her.
